I have been very satisfied with the results that I have received from my Restorex traction unit. My Urologist had recommended that I purchase one and start a regime of daily use. I have experienced a substantial improvement in the curvature from about 40 degrees to 10 degrees in about 3.5 months of use. I have also noticed 3/4″ increase in the actual length . My Urologist informed me that she is now encouraging all of her Peyronie’s patients to include the RestoreX unit in their therapy. A very well constructed and comfortable device to use. I am all about the construction of things and their durability. I don’t know who designed this device, but it is very well thought out, from the clamp lock being flush on the user’s side so they don’t accidently unlock it, to the construction of the box in which it is packaged.

I’ve been using the RestoreX device for 10 weeks now. Using a measuring tool that my urologist gave me I can see that the curve to my right has straightened out to be almost unnoticeable. Although I haven’t measured the length, it seems to be as good or better than when I first noticed the curvature. The “bottleneck” symptoms have improved a little, and I’m hoping that will improve further with continued use.

Use of RestoreX with Xiaflex is a discussion you should have with your physician. Mayo Clinic has completed several clinical studies with RestoreX and Xiaflex to determine if RestoreX would be helpful in reducing the curvature associated with Peyronie’s disease or congenital penile curvature. One study in particular compared outcomes of Xiaflex alone to Xiaflex plus RestoreX and showed at 49% curve improvement with RestoreX versus 31% without. Length was also improved by 1.9 cm for Restorex versus -0.7 cm without.

Data from our clinical trials indicate that the curve improvements are permanent after discontinuing therapy. Additional length improvements can likely be achieved with ongoing use, although the improvements are usually largest during the first three months.
